A New Exploration
From January 2009, a new series of art workshop is launched as part of the ongoing research project, Healing Through Curatorial Dialogue, for the members of staff and users of the Tynedale Patients Centre.
Aims:
1. Enrich patients and staff’s experience in dealing with chronic illness; and
2. Enhance the healing environment of the centre.
Objectives:
1. Art activities as platform for communication, expression, discussion and understanding;
2. Art activities as reflection moment for participants to connect with themselves;
3. Awaken people’s artistic talent and empower them to make curatorial decision decision for their healthcare environment; and
4. Every participant to enjoy art and the process.
