A Collaborative Research Project between Northumbria University & Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
Seeking to re-envision the role of art in healthcare for hospital users at Hexham General Hospital, my research Healing Through Curatorial Dialogue investigated how contemporary art practice shape our understanding of the concept of health, and in particular, explored how exhibition curation form effective dialogue between patients, doctors and the healthcare staff as well as the local community, and thus enhance the healing process.
