This exhibition is about who I am and where I come from. As an artist-curator for Hexham General Hospital, I have begun to take photographs with an aim to enhance the healing process. To start with, I went to the Northumbrian coast in order to capture the serenity and vastness of the sea. Through the lens of my camera, my mind travels beyond the sheer surface of the sea to my home, Hong Kong. Like Britain, Hong Kong is surrounded by sea. Looking at the vastness of the Northumbrian seascape, I feel I am facing the same old sea of Hong Kong.
